FROM VINTAGE TO VAMPED
Vinvamped clothing and accessories have been in the heart and mind of Ife Morrison for many years. She has always admired the beauty and quality of clothes from earlier decades but was never sure how she could transform her admiration into a successful profitable business. Ife is a United States Army veteran who has always prided herself in hard work and determination. After leaving the Army nearly 20 years ago, she found herself working an unfulfilling position as a paralegal. Although she toyed with the idea of opening a vintage clothing business, she never really knew where to start, or whether or not she could really succeed. One fateful day she walked into the law firm where she was employed she realized that she was not completely fulfilled. That's when she told herself “It’s either now, or never”.
She began with her blazers, then her dresses, then her suits, then her shirts. She inspects all of her items for quality and condition. If an item cannot be transformed into a modern stylish piece; she refuses to put it out into the world. Ife proudly proclaims “My passion is my clothing; I want the world to get the best of me. If I put out shabby unworthy clothes, the customers will not see me for who I really am”. Although Ife usually sells clothes, she occasionally sells vintage jewelry and earrings. Ife prides herself of being different from many of the other vintage clothes companies because she not only sells vintage clothes, but she “re-vamps” some of the styles to fit the modern flare.
Her motto is If it’s not broken than don’t try to fix it, however it if needs a tweak here or there, bring it back to its glory”. Ife is excited for what the future holds, and is ready to share her passion and vision with the world.
